Description
- Andersen® replacement block and tackle with shoe sash balancer for Tilt-Wash double-hung windows
- Used with all HP glass types prior to April 2012 and with units with 2.2 etched into glass for sizes 2452 and 2052 Cottage Lower Sash
- Also used with units with 3.0 etched into glass for sizes 1852 Cottage Lower Sash, 2852 Cottage Lower Sash and 3852 Cottage Lower Sash
- Balancer was modified in 2016 - order quantity of two when ordering replacements for a unit manufactured prior to November 2016
- Balancer allows for smooth operation and maintains the position of the window sash
- Balancers are found in the side jambs of both the upper and lower sash
- When ordering balancers we recommend replacing all balancers and the window side jamb liners
