Description

Andersen® replacement block and tackle with shoe sash balancer for Tilt-Wash double-hung windows
Used with all HP glass types prior to April 2012 and with units with 2.2 etched into glass for size 2056 Cottage Lower Sash (1992 to Present) and 3456 Cottage Lower Sash (1992 to Present)
Also used with units with 3.0 etched into glass for sizes 1856 Even, 2856 Cottage Lower Sash (1992 to Present), 3056 Cottage Lower Sash (1992 to Present), 3056 Even, 3456 Even,
Balancer was modified in 2016 - order quantity of two when ordering replacements for a unit manufactured prior to November 2016
Balancer allows for smooth operation and maintains the position of the window sash
Balancers are found in the side jambs of both the upper and lower sash
When ordering balancers we recommend replacing all balancers and the window side jamb liners
