- The limiting plate holds the actuator in place which activitates the deadbolt when the lock lever is turned
- Held in place with two screws
- The lock limiting plate is used on Andersen® Frenchwood®, A-Series hinged inswing and outswing patio doors and 200 series inswing patio doors.
- If the interior lock lever spins and does not lock or unlock the patio door, it is likely the actuator, part #2579542 needing to be replaced
