Casement Windows

How to Identify:

Andersen® 400 Series Casement windows have a hinge at the side, open outward and have a single locking mechanism on the side.


 

Awning Windows

How to Identify:

400 Series Awning windows have a hinge at the top and open outward. Awning windows have two locks – one on each side.


 

Double-Hung Windows

400 Series Woodwright® Double-Hung Window

How to identify: Wash assist to tilt in sash, wood jamb liner.


 

400 Series Tilt-Wash Double-Hung Window

How to Identify: Has a wash assist and vinyl jamb liner as shown in photo.


 

200 Series Tilt-Wash Double-Hung Window

Gliding Windows

400 Series Gliding Window

How to Identify:

They open horizontally with two moving sashes and hardware similar to the picture.

If your hardware is not this type your window my be a 200 Series gliding window.


 

200 Series Gliding Window

How to Identify:

They open horizontally with a single moving sash that slides to the right and will have hardware similar to the picture.

If your hardware is not this type, your window may be a 400 Series gliding window.


 


 

Patio Door Insect Screens

Andersen patio door insect screens have a long-lasting fiberglass screen mesh with a charcoal finish and are color matched to the exterior of the door unless otherwise specified.

TruScene insect screen mesh is not available in patio door insect screens.

Gliding Insect Screens feature Delrin® material injection molded bottom rollers with self-contained leveling adjusters. 

Hinged Insect Screens are available for single and double hinged inswinging patio doors. An extended insect screen track kit is available for jamb-hinged doors that use gliding insect screens.

Retractable Insect screens are available for outswinging hinged patio doors and two-panel gliding patio doors. Contact us for information on ordering retractable insect screens.
